About Us

Premium worm castings 2.5 litre and 5 litre

Our Story

Welcome to Kerry Worm Company, a small, family-run worm farm on the west coast of Ireland. We combine hands-on production with a careful, ingredient-led approach to create soil amendments designed for use in gardens and containers.

What We Do

We specialise in producing premium worm castings using carefully selected, diverse plant-based inputs. Many of these materials are grown by us here at Worm HQ, where we don't use any synthetic fertilisers, herbicides, or pesticides.

Our production process is small-scale and controlled. We prioritise input diversity, consistent handling, and biological integrity over volume. The result is a stable, mature vermicompost intended for use as a soil improver and organic matter source.

Our Worms & Inputs

Our worm bedding is predominantly composed of deciduous leaf mould, creating a stable carbon-rich base. The herd is fed a mix of plant materials, with small additions of andesite rock dust, Irish seaweed meal, and alfalfa meal used as part of the vermicomposting process. We focus on diversity and traceability of inputs, as we believe the quality of vermicompost begins with the quality of what goes into it.

Why Choose Kerry Worm Company?

We focus on quality over scale.

Our approach is rooted in sustainability, transparency, and careful soil stewardship. Every batch is produced with attention to process, material selection, and maturity. We aim to provide gardeners and growers with a consistent, high-quality soil amendment that can be integrated into a wide range of growing systems.

Transparency is central to what we do. We regularly share our production methods and inputs on our Instagram page so customers can see exactly how our products are made.
