Our Story

Welcome to Kerry Worm Company! We are a small, family-owned worm farm located on the west coast of Ireland. We're passionate about gardening and all things soil.

What We Do

At Kerry Worm Company, we specialise in making premium worm castings made from carefully selected diverse local inputs, many of which we produce ourselves without the use of any chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides.

Our Worms

Our worm bedding is predominantly made up of deciduous leaves and the herd is fed pre-composted fruit and vegetable scraps, coffee grounds, and garden waste. This is supplemented with seaweed and alfalfa meal, providing nutrition, biostimulants and trace minerals. Finally, we add a mix of organic egg shell and basalt rock dust as grit to help the worms digest their food. This grit is also a source for plant-available silica, micronutrients, and slow-release calcium.
